Heat Meter Maintenance

As a vital device for measuring heat consumption, heat meters require routine maintenance to ensure measurement accuracy (error ≤ ±2%) and extend their service life (typically 8-10 years). First, ensure a dry and well-ventilated installation environment. Humidity should be maintained between 30% and 70%, and the temperature should be controlled between -10°C and +55°C. Avoid direct sunlight. Regularly clean the exterior with a neutral detergent (pH 6-8). It is recommended that the display be cleaned monthly with a dedicated cleaner. Piping systems should be inspected for leaks quarterly. In areas with high water hardness, descaling is recommended every six months (scale thickness ≤ 0.5mm). A 50μm filter may be installed. The core temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.1°C) and flow sensor (error ≤ ±1%) require calibration every six months. It is recommended to maintain a data log to detect abnormalities by comparing daily and monthly data fluctuations (normal fluctuation range ±5%).
