The project includes more than 5,000 units RS485 wired ultrasonic water meters, mainly installed in residential and commercial upgrading projects. The meter use dual-channel ultrasonic measuring technology and RS485 interface, which make the data transfer more stable and easy to connect with SCADA system used by Indian water utilities.
Local project managers said that India pay more and more attention to water management and leakage control, so the demand of smart meter is increasing very fast.
